how could someone do such a disgusting thing? well that is Performance.
This is a criticism to society... The laughter of the people around this work of art, was a "natural" nervous reaction, you know it's supposed to be serious, but you also know it’s not real, so because it's so uncommon most people don't know how to react to this. It's good that you feel outraged, its normal you don't want to see more of this, as much as we don't want to see injustice or cruelty, but this sometimes is necessary to make people REACT, like you all did. So the performance fulfilled its purpose.
